Dacic in New York with world statesmen
Belgrade/New York, 18 Sept 2017 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic is in New York, where the General Debate of the regular 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly is held from 19 to 23 September.
Dacic told reporters that activities started at the UN General Assembly and that a large number of world statesmen are present in New York.
He stressed that the activities started with a high-level meeting on the reform of the United Nations system, chaired by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and President of the United States Donald Trump.
He added that he used the opportunity to talk with many participants of today's meeting, including with UN Secretary-General Guterres, US President Donald Tramp and British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.
Dacic reminded that the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic is coming to the UN headquarters, and that the Serbian delegation will have numerous meetings in the next five days.
